Life with capacity – how E.ON is working with the new grid fee

On January 1, 2027, all electricity grid companies must implement a new grid fee that includes a capacity charge. The purpose is to accelerate the energy transition and use the grid more efficiently. For electricity customers, however, this means an entirely new set of concepts and a completely new way to influence grid costs. Meet Gustav Wengen from E.ON Energy Distribution AB, who will explain how the country’s largest grid operator aims to help customers understand capacity in the biggest change the industry has seen in 80 years.
